The model represents the continental European version. Some modifications are required to represent the GB version.
Plastic kit modifications in summary:
- reduce the cab height and, independently, the driver's window height (subsequently reduces the roof height)
- don't fit the supplied roof detail
- construct a new roof with sloping edges and a single exhaust vent
- don't fit the solebar detailing strips
- fit different access steps
- rearrange the roof support posts and safety railings
- modify some of the on-board equipment
Motive power
Not included.
Could previously be motorised with sb Modellbau item number 25038 (€138.50 OCT03), but this has been replaced with item 25039 (€185.00 OCT23), which is only available by special order in quantities of 5 or more.
Alternatively, the motor-bogie from the Bachmann/Liliput 07-16 tamper could be used.
Note: Motorising a factory-assembled model is difficult.
